Responded to an incident at the Khalid Port in Sharjah following reports of a fuming container carrying an oxidizing chemical. Upon arriving at the site, the container was found to be bulging and fuming with a yellow vapour. Following air monitoring around the container, the entry team opened one of the doors to find the cargo smouldering and decomposing. High levels of toxic and poisonous gasses were detected within the container. The product was cooled and operations were undertaken to transfer the remaining product for transport and disposal.
